  1. High Holiday update – Rosh Hashanah Services will be at Phil Am Hall. Kol Nidre & Yom Kippur Day services will be at a location tba. Sharon and Ruach Committee will explore options, including Rolling Bay Church meeting room and Seabold Hall. We would like to do a postcard with high holiday service information that could be shared with chavurah members and prospective members. It could be shared at the book sale.
  1. Cemetery issue – In order to prevent the forest from encroaching on our cemetery plot, we will need to put down a footing along the forest edge. Ralph (the caretaker) is a contractor and can do the work. We will get an estimate and then decide whether to do it and how to pay for it.
  1. CC meeting dates for the rest of the year, all meetings at 11am:
  • October 7, 2018
  • November 4, 2018
  • December 2, 2018

  • April 7, 2019
  • May 5, 2019
  1. Community meeting – Visioning Meeting Scheduled – On October 28, we will hold a visioning meeting for the chavurah to generate ideas to serve the needs of more people in the community. This was suggested at the Annual Meeting.  The meeting will be held at Jessica’s home.
  1. New business – Carol asked whether we need security at our high holiday services. In the past, we have asked the police to provide extra patrols during services.  We will let them know the schedule for this year.
