Come celebrate Tu B’Shevat, The New Years of the Trees with Arik Labowitz and others! We are happy to again welcome delightful, inspiring singer, teacher and storyteller, Arik Labowitz to help us celebrate the holiday. He will be here for two events that weekend—Tu B’Shevat Celebration and a Kabbalah of the Tree of Life Learning Session! Learning Session: The Kabbalah of the Tree Of Life w/ Arik Labowitz 1/24/15, Sun, 9:30 am Location: Araya Sol's Home Everyone is invited to join Arik Labowitz as we dive deeper into the teachings and meanings that surround the “Tree of Life”, so central to Tu B’Shevat. Carol Shakow has graciously offered to host Shabbat Potluck this month. 6 pm on Friday, February 12. Her home is at 515 Madrona Way NE on Bainbridge. Coming south on Madison Ave in Winslow, make a left on Madrona Way, (one block past Wyatt Way). Go to the 3rd turn on the right and it is the second home on the right.

JLC is meeting on Friday, March 18 at 5:30pm to welcome in Shabbat with a potluck dinner, followed by a seder plate making workshop. The workshop will be led by Danielle Gordon in her home studio.
It’s an Anacharistic PURIM PARTY – We’re All in Charge! Anarchy “… absolute freedom of the individual.” So this year, everyone is free to bring to the Purim Party anything – ideas, activities, etc. – that you want to contribute and share. Just a few ideas: Games Come in costume Hamantaschen – sweet and/or savory Art supplies to make groggers WHEN: Saturday, March 19th WHERE: David Kotz and Julie Rosenblatt’s house TIME: 5:30 p.m. Havdalah!
